Large roof trusses and columns to support a huge roof for the Aldi Distribution centre in Jandakot, Perth.

Civmec Paint Shed

Steelwork for a paint shed near the coat in Henderson, Perth WA.  All of the columns were 15m tall and were double dipped.

FMG Nelson Point

TONNAGE: Approx 1000 Tonnes

The FMG Nelson Point port expansion started as 1000 tonnes but is forcast to reach 5000 tonnes of galvanized steel when finished. All steelwork has been galvanized, inspected, marked, packed and despatched direct from our Naval Base factory.

Dampier Incremental

The highlight of this project was the galvanizing of twelve fifteen metre columns weighing over ten tonnes each. This required the help of Matt Clarke and his team at The Lifting Company who designed and fabricated a specialised lifting system using three gantry cranes, a spreader bar and chains capable of withstanding the tough galvanizing conditions. Each column took two hours just to galvanize and are the heaviest pieces of steel ever galvanized by Hartway Galvanizers. Pacific Industrial Company have taken advantage of the individual project areas set up on site with all steelwork being galvanized, inspected, barcoded, packed and despatched direct from the Naval Base factory.

BHP RGP3 & 4

Another expansion by BHP to its Port Loading & Stockpiling facilities. All steelwork was galvanized, identified, labelled, packed and loaded onto trucks from Hartway Galvanizers yard.

Fiona Stanley Hospital

TONNAGE: 400 Tonnes

Steel work for the plant room of this massive hospital. Due to limited space on site the steel was packed into cradles in specific order to cut double handling and enable quick erection of each level.

RTIO Dampier Port Upgrade

TONNAGE: 1,913 Tonnes

New Rail Car Dumpers, Transfer Stations & Conveyor Systems as Rio Tinto expanded its facilities. All steelwork was galvanized, identified, labelled, packed and loaded onto trucks from Hartway Galvanizers yard.

Quarry Tavern

Hartway Galvanizers expertise was used to galvanize the exposed roof frame sections. These sections were varying shapes and sizes and needed a high quality finish.

Derby Prison

The prison perimeter fence and framework were all hot dip galvanized.

Alltype Engineering

All steelwork for their new workshop in Naval Base was hot dip galvanized for maximum protection due to its close proximity to the ocean

BP G10 Diesel Improvement

All steelwork was galvanized, laid out, inspected, bar coded, packed and loaded out direct from our Naval Base factory.

Harvey Tank

All support and roofing steelwork for a 32ML concrete water storage tank at Harvey as part of the new Binningup Desalination Plant.

Cape Lambert Mesa A Power

Power poles ranging in length from 16 to 21 metres were galvanized and despatched at our Naval Base factory.

Alcoa Pinjarra

After galvanizing all steelwork was identified, barcoded, loaded into cradles, then onto trucks and despatched to site from Hartway Galvanizers.

FMG Cloudbreak

CLIENT: SDR

DURATION: July 2008 - October 2008

TONNAGE: 875 Tonnes

Starting at an estimated 300 tonnes for galvanizing, this quickly jumped up once the Project Managers for FMG realised how much quicker the steelwork was on site and erected by using hot dip galvanizing.

Again, all steelwork was identified, barcoded, packed into cradles and despatched to site direct from Hartway Galvanizers by our staff.

Burrup Fertilizer Plant

DURATION: February 2004 - November 2004

TONNAGE: Over 2000 tonnes

This was the first project of this size undertaken by Hartway Galvanizers. Some 140 truckloads of steel; most in cradles were loaded and despatched to site from Hartway's yard after galvanizing. The heaviest item galvanized was 6.09 tonne and the longest item 18.447 metres.

Australian Marine Complex

A massive portable workshop built only 200 metres from the water. All external steelwork was galvanized.
