DESIGN FOR GALVANIZING
Proper design for galvanizing is the single most influential factor in ensuring a high quality product whilst ensuring the safety of our staff. Improper design can cause air locks, ash entrapments and even dangerous explosions due to vapour entrapment as shown in the picture below.

The photo on the right shows correct placement of holes for the best possible finish.
Welding different thicknesses of steel together can cause distortion as highlighted in the picture on the left. This is due to the different heat stresses placed on the varying sections causing them to expand and contract at differing rates.
