This plant is based in Canning Vale, Perth, Western Australia (WA6155). It has an annual capacity of 30,000tonnes.

The plant has two sections:

  1. Mainline : this is for larger fabricated items and the bath measures 12.6m long x 1.4m wide x 2.7m deep. Have a look at the maximum possible dip sizes for this plant by clicking the link: Canning vale dip size graph
  2. Centrifuge or spinning plant: this uses the same process as the mainline, but work is put through in special barrels. These barrels are finally spun by a centrifuge crane to remove excess zinc. Spinning requires significantly more handing and so usually costs more and takes longer. Common items put through the spin plant are bolts, washers, nuts, plates and small brackets.
